The task of the association The Land of Leonardo is to manage, organize and promote, in a direct or indirect way, initiatives and actions to preserve artistic and landscape assets.

This task is possible thanks to a fund used for many different aspects of the cultural asset. This fund, on the one hand, covers the preservation and the restoration of many artistic works, and on the other hand, it is involved in the development of the environment. Therefore, its main aspect is to improve Vinci surroundings together with the other town councils of the Circondario Empolese Valdelsa and then Tuscany and Italy.

Private citizens, Italians and foreign people, public institutions, private undertakings, and international organizations can provide financial support with gifts and donations given through Fund Raising.

Another aspect of The Land of Leonardo is to provide lectures on historical art, landscapes and environment. All topics linked to the works of art and supported tourism. The Association can achieve its aims of promotion and development either with direct initiatives or with the cooperation and/or participation of other cultural institutions and associations. They can be situated in Italy, in the European Community or in the whole world, but they need to be all linked to the figure of Leonardo da Vinci and to the will to preserve and maintain the cultural and landscape asset in Italy.
